CTA Meeting Minutes - September 12, 2012
• The September CTA Meeting was called to order by President Charlotte Bigler.
• The Secretary/Treasurer report was presented by Debbie Gabrielson.
• Theresa Triplett made the motion to accept the minutes as given.
• Kathy Sargent seconded the motion.
• The motion was approved.

New Business
Courtesy Committee Report
• Beth Thompson presented the committees new guidelines for correspondence and celebrations.
• CTA will contribute $20 towards a celebration that requires a decorated cake.
• Heidi Edwards made a motion that we accept the guidelines as presented.
• Alicia Cokerham seconded the motion.
• The motion was approved.
Professional Development Reports
• Molly Parks and Misty Burnett attended Check & Connect training.
• Several high school teachers attended Kagan training.
• Several elem. teachers attended 5 Components of Reading training.
Principal Report
• Math Power Standards are to be emailed to Molly Parks by the October PLC meeting.
Superintendent Report
• Consortium will be Friday Sept. 14th at Tina-Avalon
• School will purchase 2 new smart boards for this year.
• School will be installing a new security system soon.
• Told teachers to start brainstorming ideas for school improvements
